13.06 2019

At the Let's Stick Together exhibition with Ien Lucas and Jochem Rotteveel, PARK is organizing an evening on Thursday June 13 at 8 pm. Saxophonist Tom Sanderman starts and ends the evening with music by Anthony Fiumara, city composer Tilburg. Ron Dirven talks to Ien Lucas and Jochem Rotteveel about their work.

Together with De Link we present a mini concert by saxophonist Tom Sanderman. His expertise is post-minimalism of the 21st century. He prefers to work with contemporary composers: "It gives me the opportunity to perform the music that I love the most and to share this with the audience in a personal way."Sanderman won the Jacques de Leeuw Award in 2016. At PARK he plays two compositions by Anthony Fiumara, city composer Tilburg. After Sanderman's first piece, Ron Dirven, director Vincent van Gogh House Zundert, takes you through the exhibition Let's Stick Together by Ien Lucas and Jochem Rotteveel. During this informal tour you will get to know their work better through Dirven's conversation with the two artists present. After this talk, Tom Sanderman concludes with a second composition.
