'Wilhelminapark 125 years' is organising six informal 'Pop-up Art Events' in the beautiful Wilhelminapark celebrating 125 years, right on PARK's doorstep. Casual encounters around art in the public space. A small-scale spontaneous meeting with artists from various directions, art, theatre, dance, music, poetry, performances, and so on. Known and unknown artists, young and old, seasoned or still exploring. Visitors can walk around and be surprised.
During the pop-up art event on 6 August, a relaxed setting will be created in Wilhelminapark by our summer resident Razia Barsatie. The public is invited to dialogue with Razia about the Petrus Donders statue. The conversations and insights resulting from this dialogue will be included in an artistic pilgrimage at the statue on 20 August.
Time: 2 - 5pm.
Location: on the lawn right behind the statue of Peerke Donders.
