Marieke van de Ven participates in the KOMMA program. She has a short working period at PARK and responds to the exhibition 'Parallel Motion' by Esther Tielemans and Katleen Vinck.
Marieke van de Ven makes sound walks, podcasts, audio stories, electroacoustic compositions and field recordings. She is inspired by sounds from her environment. Sounds from the nature of the city; a rattling gear, a falling glass.
Izah Hankammer is also making a KOMMA inspired by the exhibition. On Saturday June 15, they will both present their interdisciplinary maker's commentary.
