Teleport is an improvisational duo that fills spaces with distinctive sound. Using their voices, synthesizers, homemade noise instruments, effects, and electronic and acoustic percussion, Koen Wijnen (1986, Tilburg) and Eva van Pelt (1992, Den Bosch) take you on a musical road trip that you can enjoy while sitting, dancing, lying down, or walking around. Teleports live improvisations transform waiting rooms into desert landscapes, dance floors into global cities, and festival tents into spaceships.
Both graduated from the Rock Academy and are active as creators and musicians. They also play together in the four-piece band Van Pelt & De Gemeenste Delers, performing Eva's songs in band arrangements by Koen. In addition to their joint activities, they also work separately. Eva has a talk show in the Verkadefabriek called ‘Are there any questions?’. She is active at ‘Het Nest’, an artistic breeding ground in Den Bosch, and she does Performance Coaching. Koen is active at Deepsky (improvised music), Frimangron (improvised music), among others. He creates solo work and visual art.
Teleport responds to the exhibition Breather. The performance will take place on Saturday 13 December at 3.30 pm.
Collaboration with De Link.
