On Sunday afternoon, 24 May, a special event will take place in connection with the Wise Up exhibition. René Korten will talk about PARK, the background to the exhibition he curated, and he will show a few short videos. He has been a member of the artistic team since PARK was founded in 2013; this exhibition marks his departure from PARK.
This will be followed by an informal guided tour with some of the participating artists: Mariëtte van Erp, Seet van Hout, Joran van Soest and René Korten will talk about their work and their contribution to the exhibition.
After that, Joran van Soest will give a performance in which he combines one of his sculptures in the exhibition with sound. To round off the event, there will be an opportunity to enjoy a drink at the bar.
