Frann Schollaert participates in the KOMMA program. He has a short working period at PARK and responds to the exhibition YARN.
Frann Schollaert (she/they, 1999) is a maker and performer based in Tilburg. Her artistic development began at the Arts Humanities School in Brussels and was further shaped through the dance program at Fontys Academy of the Arts, with a focus on Contemporary Urban and Choreography. In her graduation year, she received the Jacques de Leeuw Award for performance and design.
In her work, she departs from the body as a vulnerable site where emotions, memories, and tensions manifest physically. The inner experience is central: being present, feeling, and moving out of necessity. She does not regard the body as a static carrier of experience, but as a living landscape that continuously changes under the influence of expectations, boundaries, and relationships.
Isabella Calmet is also making a KOMMA inspired by the exhibition. On Saturday 3 Octobre, they will both present their interdisciplinary maker's commentary.
Starts at 3.30 pm. Admission free, welcome!
